Be the first pair of hands to wave at our critics.

Who will dive in and send me an email with a pair of decorated hands? Share what you love about HE.

Be the first since 2009 to hold your hands up for HE.

It's easier and easier to share blogs and info on the internet so I would be so happy if you'd help me to raise this from the ashes ;-) Join in and share with friends who might like to wave here too.

Draw around your hands Decorate them

At the moment Hands UP 4 Home Ed has drawn hands, collage hands and painted hands, we would also really like any other kind of hands at all.

Email a photo(s) of your hands creation(s) saved as JPEG images to stefndawniy@gmail dot com please include your names so that I can mention you and give you the credit for your work .

The theme is hands Up and waving for Home Ed. If you home educate or like the idea of home education, would you like to make the most creative hands you can for the hands up blog? They could be real hands decorated with Mendhi and photographed, sewn hands, knitted hands, wax hands, basket weave hands. . . . . batique, stained glass, glass paint, fimo, plasticine, dough, modrock, sand, ice . . . . . . . the ideas could be endless!

Hands can be made or decorated in any way accompanied by something good you'd like to say about Home Ed. Whatever you want to say can be incorporated in with your design or written around the hands anywhere as you please.

The aim is to be able to share this blog with politicians, reporters, ofsted, DFES, . . . . anyone who criticises us.

FIRST we need to fill it crammed full with even more of our hands along with all the positive points of HE we want to share.

I can't do this without you!

Hands up fizzled when Badman and his yobs left us alone but I think there is still a need , we seem to be more under negative eyes as time goes on especially in the light of the Khyra Ishaq case.

We know we aren't in the wrong and we need to share that. Home Ed is a thing we are proud of !! We are parents who are doing the very best for our children and it would be good to hear what you have to say.
